<p>A surface-treating agent comprising (A) tetraalkoxytitanium and/or a product of hydrolysis and polycondensation thereof (average degree of condensation: up to 6); (B) at least one member selected from among maleic acid monoesters, glutaric acid monoesters, itaconic acid monoesters, citraconic acid monoesters, glutaconic acid monoesters, diglycolic acid monoesters, N-alkylamino alcohols, and polyalkylene glycolmonoalkyl ethers; and (C) a chelating agent capable of forming a chelate ring with a titanium atom. This agent is usable in an aqueous system.</p> |
