摘要 <p>The robot for sheet material has a vertical shaft (1) supporting both arms (4), for rotation about a common axis, each arm (4) having relatively pivoted sections for providing at least 3 degrees of movement. The pivot sections and the arm mounting allow each arm (4) to rotate through an angle of more than 270 degrees, with individual or coordinated movement of the two arms (4). Pref. the gripper linkage for at least one arm (4) incorporates a pressure sensor allow position correction during handling of flexible sheets, to hold the latter in a flat plane. The operation of the arms is program controlled. USE - For handling flexible sheets, e.g. in textile industry, or for covering furniture panels with foil material.</p>
