For long term securing of mining areas in underground mining support arrangements are provided. These are constituted by individual cushions or tubular members, which define a forced centering unit, so that they also can be effectively tensioned between the hanging wall and foot wall, where a particular inclination is present of where a collapse can occur. The forced centering units thereby uniformly positions the cushions or tubular members and therewith provides a constant support of thereof. The support arrangement in particular embodiments of the cushions have suitable openings (e.g. openings in the centre or at the side edges) where tension members in the form of hydraulic props are located, which props, if necessary, can be removed again easily if the openings are located at the side of the cushions or tubular members. @(1pp Dwg.No.1/1)@ |
