PURPOSE:To remove all kinds of the water droplets adherent to a plate member rapidly by bending the plate member repeatedly by means of a vibrator smaller than the plate member to excite vibration therein, and by heating the plate member through an exothermic means. CONSTITUTION:A disc-type piezoelectric vibrator 20 being fixed on a part of a mirror 11 by a bonding agent, when the electric power is input to leads 31, 32, the piezoelectric vibrator 20 is elongated or shrunk in a direction of thickness or the radius for a droplet adherent to a reflecting surface to be removed from the mirror 11. An exothermic body 25 that is screen-printed so as to enclose the piezoelectric vibrator 20 is arranged on the rear surface 11a of the mirror 11, and when the electric power is input to leads 33, 34, the entire body of the mirror 11 is heated through the heating of the exothermic body 25. A water droplet, cloudiness, frost, ice, adherent to the plate member can thus be removed rapidly. |
