PURPOSE:To provide an antibacterial deodorant which has a powerful antibacterial action and a safe chemical deodorizing action having continuity by containing hematin or a metallic complex. CONSTITUTION:Hematin or its metallic complex produces an excellent deodorizing effect against a typical smell molecule, e.g., ammonia, trimethylamine, hydrogen sulfide, methylmercaptan. The deodorizing effect of hematin and a hematin metallic complex are worked as a powerful oxidation catalyst to chemically oxidize a smell molecule for removal. Hematin or its metallic complex has a power antibacterial action. Namely, Yellow staphylococcus and Bacillus subtilis are prevented from growth in low concentration of 12.5mug/ml. |
