The invention concerns a sealing arrangement to be used for impregnating/coating a web. The web 6 is arranged in a vacuum chamber 10 and is drawn out through the sealing arrangement 50 to an impregnation zone 20 under atmospheric pressure. An impregnating agent 4 is brought directly into contact with the web 6, which can then be conveyed to a setting zone, from which it is later collected. The sealing arrangement comprises a box 1 with a rectangular trough in which two rollers 2 are arranged. The rollers 2 are elastic and, in the free state, they have dimensions which are slightly greater than the trough in the box 1 in order to obtain correct sealing. The impregnating agent 4 is arranged on the high-pressure side of the sealing arrangement so that it reaches down to the mouth between the rollers 2 where the web 6 is drawn out. The agent 4 at the same time lubricates the rollers 2 so that these rotate in time with drawing-out without any leakage. <IMAGE> |
