PURPOSE:To reduce a time for collection and an amount of computation and to enable preparation of an accurate three-dimensional image or two-dimensional tomographic image of an arbitrary section by collecting radiation projection data by using a radiation source which radiates a conical beam of a prescribed solid angle. CONSTITUTION:Radiation sources 2 and 4 radiating conical beams of prescribed solid angles respectively are disposed on scanning circles 6 and 7 of a radius D which are located within planes y-z and x-z respectively around a substance 1 to be inspected. For the radiation sources 2 and 4, detectors 3 and 5 pairing with them respectively are disposed with the substance 1 held between. By rotating the scanning circles 6 and 7, these two pairs of devices scan the conical beams on the substance 1, the intensity of a radiation arriving through the substance 1 is detected by each of the detectors 3 and 5, and the radiation projection data of the substance 1 are obtained therefrom. A required reconstructing computation is applied to collected data thus obtained, and an accurate three-dimensional image or two-dimensional tomographic image of an arbitrary section of the internal structure of the substance 1 to be inspected is obtained therefrom. |
