PURPOSE:To form a cyan pigment image not causing a change in the hue due to heat, moisture and light by using a specified coupler. CONSTITUTION:A pigment image hardly affected by heat, moisture and light can be formed by using a specified coupler represented by formula I. In the formula I, each of R1, R2, R3 and Y is H, a group such as alkyl, aryl, anilino or cycloalkyl, a residue of a spiro compd., an org. residue of a hydrocarbon compd., etc., the alkyl is preferably 1-32C alkyl and may be straight chain or branched alkyl, R2 and R3 may bond to each other to form a ring and X is H or a substituent which is released by a reaction with the oxidized product of a color developing agent. |
