PURPOSE:To avoid making lubrication oil into diluteness due to leakage fuel by installing a sealing for interrupting the interconnection between a cam case and a pressure chamber of a timer in a liquid-tight manner, and checking the leakage fuel into the cam case from the pressure chamber. CONSTITUTION:In an inner cam distributor type fuel injection pump 1, a timer 16 for fuel injection timing control has a timer piston 52 being connected via an inner cam 39 and a slide pin 51, and it rotates and displace this inner cam 39 by movement of this timer piston 52. A pressure chamber 53 is formed at one end side of the timer piston 52 and a low pressure chamber 55 at the other end side, respectively, and this low pressure chamber 55 is interconnected to a timer chamber 50a via an interconnecting hole 59 installed in the timer piston 52. In this case, interconnection between the timer chamber 50a and the cam case 60 interrupted by a diaphragm 61 and a diaphragm fixed ring 62 being locked to the former. With this constitution, any inflow of boosted fuel being taken in the pressure chamber 53 into the cam case 60 is prevented from occurring. |
