PURPOSE: To achieve a long service life of an installation bush and a connection spigot in a device for connecting a rolled rod of strip material of paper or the like to a drive shaft by allowing application of overload to a winding shaft or high rotation of it. CONSTITUTION: Connection of a rolled rod 2 to a drive shaft 3 is realized by installing or removing a connection spigot 4 in a cavity 5. An installation bush 11 and a chuck 8 get apart from an installation member 6 and a shaft bearing 12 of a drive shaft 3 at a closure position of a handle 10, and it is protruded from the handle 10 on the end surface side facing the rolled rod 2. Axial length of the installation bush 11, the chuck 8, and the installation cavity 5 is longer than width of the handle 10. Especially, the chuck 8 for the cavity 5 in the installation bush 11 is disposed on the installation bush 11 itself, and when the handle 10 is released, release and closure of the chuck 8 are allowed. |
