PURPOSE:To enable observation of each part in a hermetically-sealed vessel and also execution of clear observation, by a method wherein a substance to be inspected is observed from outside of the hermetically-sealed vessel through an optically transparent window provided in the wall part of the hermetically-sealed vessel. CONSTITUTION:An illuminating light from a lamp 13 of a light source device 12 passes through a transparent window 11 and enters a light guide 4 in a vacuum vessel 1, and it is led thereby and emitted toward a substance 2 to be inspected. Besides, an electric signal is transmitted to an electricity-light conversion device 19 in accordance with scanning by a bulge control box 17 and converted thereby into a light signal. Then, the signal is passed through a transparent window 20 and converted again into an electric signal by a photoelectric conversion device 21 in the vessel 1, and it is processed by an arithmetic device and then transmitted to a motor 16. Based on this signal, the motor 16 operates a curving knob 14 through a belt 15 by a power of a battery 23. Thereby a curving element 24 is curved and a part of observation can be changed. An image of the substance 2 to be inspected is transmitted by an image guide 3 and can be observed through a transparent window 7 by a magnifying optical system 8 provided outside the vessel 1. |
