PURPOSE:To obtain depth information of an object by obtaining an arrival time difference of a reflection signal of a range finder signal from an object to an image pickup circuit. CONSTITUTION:A light source 1 radiates a luminous flux according to control information from a light source control circuit 2. The luminous flux radiated simultaneously is reflected on an object 3 and reaches an image pickup circuit 7 through a lens 4, a filter 6 and a shutter 6. The required time till the reflected luminous flux reflected on the object 3 reaches the shutter 6 is proportional to the distance between the reflecting point and the shutter 6. The shutter 6 and the image pickup circuit 7 record the arrival time difference and the circuit 7 fetches the signal passing through the shutter 6 and sends the fetched information to a transmission circuit 10. Thus, the depth information of the picture is obtained with a simple circuit. |
