<p>PURPOSE:To set a stapler selectively to the direction desired by an operation in a simple manner and thereby make its stapling performable in the desired direction by setting up the stapler free of rotation around a reference point. CONSTITUTION:A thumb screw 44 is attached to an auxiliary table 36 rotatably or screwably, and this thumb screw 44 is fixed to its position so as to be screwed in a tapped hole at a specified position of the table, or to be pressed to the table. Next, at the time of a changeover of direction, the thumb screw 44 is loosed to some extent, moving the auxiliary table 36, and the thumb screw 44 is clamped at the desired position for fixation. With operation of the suchlike thumb screw 44, the relative direction of a stapler 13 to copying paper is set to optionally desired vertical, horizontal and diagonal directions.</p> |
