PURPOSE:To maintain the balance between the right an left driving forces and improve the traveling stability of a vehicle by changing the brake application condition by a brake means, according to the result of the detection of the control state of a differential restriction clutch, so that the brake application speed lowers as the differential restriction torque increases. CONSTITUTION:If the drive slip of a wheel is generated when the wheel is driven by the power supplied from an engine, a traction controller suppresses the drive slip of the wheel by applying brake onto the wheel by a brake means A for traction control which is installed individually for the right and left driving wheels. Further, the traction controller controls the differential restriction torque of a differential restricting clutch C installed between wheels, by a clutch control means B. In this case, a control state detecting means D for detecting the brake application state of the differential restricting clutch C by the clutch control means B is installed. Then, according to the clutch control state, the brake application condition by the brake means A is changed by a brake application condition changing means E so that the brake application speed lowers as the differential restriction torque increases. |
