PURPOSE:To standardize the form of sealing ends as well as to lessen variations in silica tube forms, by making up a female type concave, which has two surfaces jointly connecting a couple of molding press heads while corresponds to two-split form in the axial direction of a illuminant tube end part, on these two surfaces each. CONSTITUTION:A head 20a, a twin of paired molding press heads 20a and 20b comprising this forming device has two surfaces 21 and 22 connected at least orthogonally and, ranging over these two surfaces, a concave 24 in spherical form over its nearly one-fourth area is formed up, setting down its corner line 23 as the center line of the spherical body. This concave 24 is so designed as to become a female type corresponding to a two-split form in axial direction at the end part of an illuminant tube. Likewise, another head 20b is also formed entirely the same as the head 20a. Therefore, when these paired heads 20a and 20b contact a vertical surface 22 each other, a female type concave in spherical form over its one-second commensurate to the end form of the illuminant tube can be formed at one of plane surfaces made up by these connected surfaces 21 and 22. |
