PURPOSE:To accomplish dense dyeing of high-density fabrics comprised of ultrafine fiber in high efficiency by using fibrillation-type conjugate fiber capable of fibrillation into ultrafine fibers of mutually different fineness made up of polyamide and polyester. CONSTITUTION:A high-density fabric is produced using fibrillation-type conjugate fiber to be resulted, after fibrillation, in ultrafine fibers of mutually different fineness of <=1de, made up of e.g., (A) nylon 6 and (B) polyethylene terephthalate. This fabric is then fibrillated using an aqueous emulsion of e.g., benzyl alcohol followed by dyeing with a disperse dye. According to this method, even if composed of ultrafine fibers, the above kind of fabrics can uniformly and densely by dyed by a conventional method. |
