PURPOSE:To obtain a great rotational force and stable rotation due to resonance and phone effect by using a resonator and a torsional oscillator having the phone effect which are combined with each other. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic wave motor 30 is composed of a piezoelectric element 31, and a resonator 32, a torsional oscillator 34 having a beam 33, a rotor 35, and a fixing bolt 36. The torsional oscillator 34 is composed of a disc section 38 and the beam 33, and the beam 33 is formed in the shape of a phone, and so by phone effect due to the area ratio, oscillation is amplified. A beam width on the upper surface of the beam 33 is set to be small, and so the difference of horizontal speed difference component at the position of a ridgeline is reduced, and the speed direction is turned into the direction accommodated to rotation. In this manner, the oscillation of the piezoelectric element 31 can be greatly amplified by the resonator 32 and the torsional oscillator 34, and the promotion of efficiency and the lowering of rotation loss are achieved. |
