PURPOSE: To prevent a cellulose-contg. textile material from yellowing due to an imidazolidinone by finishing the textile material with an aqueous textile material treatment agent comprising a 1,3-dialkyl-4,5-dihydroxy-imidazolidinone and a specific polyhydric alcohol. CONSTITUTION: A cellulose-contg. textile material is finished with an aqueous textile material treatment agent comprising (A) a 1,3-dialkyl-4,5-dihydroxy- imidazolidinone (a part or all of the hydroxyl groups may be etherified with a lower monohydric alcohol) and (B) polyhydric alcohol(s) of formula I (R and R' are each H or CH3 independently of each other; (y) is 1-4) and/or formula II (R" is a 1-3C alkyl), wherein the imidazolidinone as the component A may be etherified with at least the polyhydric alcohols of respective formula I and formula II. |
