The sealant compsn. for spacer of pair glass comprises reaction prod. of (A) addn. reaction prod. of unsatd. polymer composed of at least one monomer which contains at least one C=C, with terminal hydroxy gps. and 5-30 mol.% C8-20 alkanethiol. Alkanethiol is added to double bonds to unsatd. polymeric backbone, and (B) polyisocyanate compound or mixt. of polyisocyanate compds. capable of curing addn. reaction prod. The sealant exhibits good thermal stability, low water vapor transmission rate, nonsulfurous odour low volatibility and acceptable elongation.
