OUTER GARMENT PRODUCT OF WORSTED YARN AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

PURPOSE:To obtain the title product having a printed pattern, washable with water by coloring woven fabric woven from worsted yarn from which cuticular layer on the surface is removed and which has an inner side exposed to the surface and further subjecting the woven fabric to crimp preventing processing with polyamidoepichlorohydrin resin. CONSTITUTION:Cuticular layer on the surface of wool fiber is partially removed by oxidizing treatment with chlorine or oxygen to give worsted yarn having an inner side exposed to the surface, which is woven to give woven fabric. The woven fabric is dyed, printed and further subjected to crimp preventing processing with a polyamidoepichlorohydrin resin to give a water-washable and readily handleable outer garment product of worsted yarn having high fastness.
