<p>PURPOSE:To increase recording capacity by generating a true or false clock pulse by taking the AND of a clock window and the read signal of a clock bit in the present data area, and setting data by taking the AND of a data window generated by setting the true clock pulse as reference and the read signal. CONSTITUTION:A binarization waveform is generated by detecting the peak point of the read signal at a binarization circuit 21 on a data track 4 in a column A. Also, an upper window is generated by clearing a counter 23 for upper window by a synchronizing signal and counting it up by a clock. In the column A, the AND is satisfied by the clock window and the binarization waveform when the upper window is set at low, and the true clock pulse is generated at an AND circuit 24. Next, the data window is generated with an interval B setting the true clock pulse as reference by clearing a counter 27 and counting it up by the clock. In such a way, it is possible to increase the capacity of an optical recording medium.</p> |
