Tanning-tawing. The blade cutter machine, of traditional type, is characterised by: - a laying table 15 raised in relation to the feeding table 3 and situated upstream of the edge, - a perforated ramp 17 arranged between the edge and the laying table, connected to a source of supply of a fluid and distributing, between the edge and the laying table, a sheet of fluid promoting the sliding of a skin or of leather on which a cut is to be performed by the blade.
