PURPOSE:To produce high-output light with a narrowed spectrum line width by feedbacking the light emitted from the high reflection plane side of a semiconductor laser back to the semiconductor laser through the high reflection plane side, and outputting the light emitted from the low reflection plane side, out of the lights emitted from the high reflection plane side and low reflection plane side of the laser. CONSTITUTION:An external resonator is made between the low reflection plane 11b of an LD and the reflection plane of a reflecting mirror 13, and a lens 12 makes the reflected feedback light strike efficiently into the LD 11. And, this makes it possible to increase the Q value of the laser resonator and decrease the influence of naturally emitted light being the possible cause of noise. Accordingly, the oscillation spectrum can be narrowed. And, high light- output can be obtained by condensing the light emitted from the low reflection plane 11b side of the LD with the first lens 14 and second lens 15, and making it strike the end of an optical fiber 16. |
