PURPOSE:To make it possible to certainly display a working condition at a display section when a main contact section is cut off and also reduce the number of parts of a structure for display of an abnormality and the cost by forming a display section at the moving iron core of an electro-magnet and interlocking a circuit tripping mechanism to the working of the moving core of the electro-magnet at the time of leak detection. CONSTITUTION:In a circuit breaker having an electro-magnet 7 operated by an output of a current transformer, a circuit tripping mechanism 15 interlocked by an operation of the moving iron core 11 of that electro-magnet 7 and the main contact 2 opened and closed by operation of that circuit tripping mechanism 15, a display section 21 is formed at a part of the moving iron core 11, and a display window 22 opposed to that display section 21 is provided in the body case of the circuit breaker. The main contact 2 is cut off by interlocking the circuit tripping mechanism 15 to an operation of the moving iron core 11 of the electro-magnet when an abnormal condition such as leak, etc., is detected, and it is possible to confirm the operating condition at the display section 21 or a part of the moving iron core 11 which then operates. Thereby, it is possible to simplify a structure for display of an abnormality. |
