PURPOSE:To enable a device to sufficiently cope with unattended operation with respect to cash collection by designating a proper value based on the sum total of received money and paid money in the day totalized in each transaction on the higher-order device side with resect to the amount of cash to be collected. CONSTITUTION:A storage part 10 where a designated amount of cash to be collected from the higher-order device can be stored and a cash collection control means 6 by which a detecting means collects cash, the designated amount of which is sent from the higher-order device and is stored in the storage part 10, into a collection part 27 are provided. With respect to the amount of cash to be collected, proper one of preliminarily set values is selected based on the sum total of received money and paid money in the day totalized in each transaction on the higher-order device side. That is, the amount of cash to be collected is set to a small value when the amount of paid money is larger than the amount of received money, and it is set to a large value when the amount of received money is larger than the amount of paid money. Thus, cash is collected without the invention of a clerk in accordance with the operation condition of the day. |
