PURPOSE:To enhance sensitivity and to suppress variances of potentials in the light and in the dark at the time of repeated cycles of electric charging and exposure by incorporating a specified compound in a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:An electrophotographic sensitive body has on a conductive substrate the photosensitive layer containing one of the compounds represented by formula I in which Ar is an aryl group having at least a substituted amino group at the ortho-position and each of R1-R3 is an optionally substituted alkyl, such aralkyl, such aromatic, or such heterocyclic group, thus permitting high sensitivity to be obtained, variances of the potentials in the light and in the dark at the time of successive uses to be reduced, and durability to be enhanced. |
