PURPOSE:To form a retransfer sheet without considering wettability by a method wherein a finishing agent which has a tensile strength of 1kg/cm<2>-100kg/cm<2> and melting point and softening point of 100 deg.C or higher or otherwise of which melt viscosity at 100 deg.C is 1,000 poise or over, is used on a retransfer sheet to be printed. CONSTITUTION:A finishing agent layer 12 to be formed on one surface of a substrate 11 has a tensile strength of 1kg/cm<2>-100kg/cm<2>. It is required for retransfer of a transfer image 13 together with a finishing agent when the transfer image 13 formed by thermal transfer is retransferred onto a material to be transferred from an upside of a sheet 10. In the case where a substance which is either fused or is extremely softened at 100 deg.C or under is used for the finishing agent layer 12, the finishing agent is also fused when the image is formed by thermal transfer, and adhesion between the sheet substrate and the finishing agent is increased to cause inferiority of retransfer. Then, the melting point and to softening point of the finishing reagent layer 12 are preferably 100 deg.C or higher. Even through it is melted, viscosity at 100 deg.C is preferably 1,000 poise or over. |
