The invention relates to a metallic flat gasket, particularly an annular combustion-chamber gasket. There have hitherto been considerable weaknesses with regard to temperature- and pressure-dependent changes in the sealing gap. In the invention, these weaknesses are overcome by virtue of the fact that the flat gasket is produced from two sealing parts which engage in one another with temperature- or pressure-dependent, movable positive engagement.
