The invention relates to a circuit arrangement for measuring peak values of a signal varying with time which is superimposed on a direct-voltage pulse. For the wide band measurement of the peak value of the time-variable signal, two different channels having a common input stage, a common output stage and other means by means of which the component of the direct-voltage pulse is eliminated are provided. This is achieved by the fact that an input signal consisting of the component of the direct-voltage pulse and the component of the time-variable signal is inverted by the circuit means of one channel and the peak voltage value is generated whilst the peak voltage value of the non-inverted input signal is generated by circuit means in the other channel and both peak voltage values are added in the output stage.
