<p>PURPOSE:To recognize the contents of a cargo at a real time simultaneously with the pick up of the cargo and to improve the correctness and efficiency of a cargo operation by providing a cargo information reading means for reading the information of a recording medium having information for instructing the contents of the cargo attached to the cargo or the pallet thereof on a vehicle body. CONSTITUTION:When a fork lift 3 approaches to an object cargo B to take the cargo, a cargo information reading means (ID reader) 19 provided on a vehicle body reads the information of a recording medium (ID card) 18 attached to the cargo B or a pallet 24 receiving and supporting it. Then, the read information is compared with the previously known contents of the object cargo B simultaneously with the picking up of the cargo. Consequently, the contents of the cargo B can be recognized at a real time simultaneously with the pickup of the cargo, thus a cargo operation being correctly and efficiently carried out.</p> |
