Wood veneer-drying system - uses hot air followed by dielectric high-frequency drying area

The system dries thin sheets of wood, particularly veneer between 0.2 and 6mm. thick, using heated drying air. In a first stage, the sheets etc, are guided through currents of heated air, and in a second through a dielectric high-frequency drying area. 60 to 90% of the moisture to be expelled cna be extracted in the first stage. Alternatively drying can take place in the first stage nearly to the desired residual moisture content in particular areas, while in the second this is completed, and at the same time the residual moisture is evenly distributed. USE/ADVANTAGE - Low cost and even drying, with consequent absence of veneer distortion.
