The machine for changing the stack on paper-sheet feeders esp. for small or medium-sized paper, consists of a plate (2) supporting the stack of sheets (1) and resting on lifting pieces (3) in its topmost position being supported by angled-strips (8a,8b) along two opposite-facing sides underneath the plate (2). The angled strips (8a,8b) consist of a support-surface (8a) facing the stack (1) and at right angles to an upward-facing stop surface (8b) and pivoting freely on an axle (7). The axle (7) is held by the downward sloping ends of the lever (6) of a movable shaft (5) which is mounted in vertical guide-strips (4) on both sides of the pairs of levers (6). USE/ADVANTAGE - The machine continuously changes stacks of medium and small sized paper while automatically feeding the sheets to a processing machine at unreduced speed, and balances any differences in stack heights.
