The sorter for faulty packaging-units (2), especially bottles, consists of a first, horizontal conveyor-belt (3) over which the bottles pass onto a parallel conveyor belt by means of a pusher (8). The pusher (8) gives the bottles a motional impulse of pre-set speed crosswise to the belt direction of travel, and is controlled by an electronic time-mechanism. Across the main conveyor-direction is a movable discharge-carriage with a sensor roller on it, and return spring. A driven curved segment disc provides a 90 deg. turn for the packing-unit and is positioned on a holder (12). USE/ADVANTAGE - The machine can be used for sorting defective bottles, especially, and for distributing and sorting bottles for filling units for drinks, cosmetcis and other liquids.
