PURPOSE:To apparently make the expansion and handling of the recording area of an information recording disk into one medium by providing a recording medium at an adapter in a composite disk composed of the adapter installed at the outer circumference of the information recording disk. CONSTITUTION:In a composite disk composed of an information recording disk 11 and an adapter 12 installed at the outer circumference of the information recording disk 11, a recording media is provided at the adapter 12. For example, a CD-ROM disk 11 having a 8cm diameter, and a first adapter 12 to convert the compact disk having the 8cm diameter to record the retrieving software of the CD-ROM disk 11 having the 8cm CD-ROM disk 11 to the size of the compact disk having the 12cm diameter while a signal surface recorded by the same recording system as the compact disk. Thus, two media of the disk to mainly record the information and the adapter, which is an external recording medium, can be made apparently into one medium and it is handled as if the recording area of the information recording disk is expanded. |
