PURPOSE:To effectively execute or test a control program by securing the connection between a picture controller which controls a picture input/output device and a computer incorporating a picture application program via a path and producing a control program of the picture input/output device via the computer. CONSTITUTION:The input/output request given to a picture input/output device 30 based on a picture application program 10a stored in a computer 10 is informed to a picture controller 20 via a 1st connection path 40. The controller 20 receives the requests and transmits the input/output request information to a picture input/output device control program 10b via a 2nd connection path 41. The program 10b receives the request information and makes an access to the device 30 via a 3rd connection path 42. Thus the program 10b can be easily produced, executed or tested via the computer 10 with the use of the path 41, etc., that return to the computer 10 from the controller 20. Furthermore no down-loading device is needed since no down-loading action is required for the program 10b.
