<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a jam of papers caused by a transfer sheet stopping at the main body side of a copying machine or near an ejecting port by inhibiting a paper ejecting tray from moving to a first setting position when the paper ejecting tray is in a second setting position and also a transfer sheet is placed on it. CONSTITUTION:When copying is not performed, the paper ejecting tray 50 is in the first setting position in which the projection area of a plane protruding from the main body side of the copying machine is small; when copying is performed, the paper ejecting tray 50 is in the second setting position in which the projection area of the plane is large; upon the completion of the copying operation by the copying machine, the tray is returned to the first setting position being a normal condition. However, the paper ejecting tray 50 is inhibited from moving to the first setting position when it is in the second setting position and also a transfer sheet is placed on the paper ejecting tray 50. Therefore, this does not cause a jam of papers which results from a transfer sheet stopping at the main body side of the copying machine or near the ejecting port.</p> |
