PURPOSE:To incorporate many functions to a device of handling a small-sized medium and to improve operability by providing a means of setting an erasing operation at the time of erasing and setting the mode condition of a recording or reproducing operation at the time of recording or reproducing. CONSTITUTION:The setting means sets the erasing operation at the time of the erasing mode and sets the mode of the recording or reproducing operation at the time of the recording or reproducing mode. Namely, the continuous recording mode, single recording mode, and self-timer recording mode can be set at every turning on of a mode switch 27 and a display part 12 is changed over in display according to this setting. A mode counter is provided in a system control circuit in order to surely set the mode and the count value of the counter is cyclically updated like 0 1 2 0 every time when the counter is incremented. The operability is improved and the constitution is simplified in such a manner. |
