PURPOSE:To obtain improvement in comfortableness performance or running stability and the like by operating loading condition of a vehicle, and changing a preset threshold value in accordance to the operated result of an operating means. CONSTITUTION:A controller 13 is constituted of a microcomputer, and equipped with a processing unit, RAM, ROM and so on capable of realizing an operating means, a setting change means and a control means. A mean vehicle height is calculated from a vehicle height detected by a vehicle height sensor 19 con nected to the controller 13, and it is judged indirectly from the mean vehicle height to be loaded lightly or to be loaded normally. A threshold value is changed in its setting in accordance to the case of normal loading and the case of light loading, front suspension and rear suspension connected to the controller 13 are changed over to (-)SOFT(-) or (-)HARD(-), and damping force is controlled by actuators 28-31, therefore it is always possible to secure comfort ableness or to obtain running stability regardless of loaded load. |
