Alcoxylated amino compounds containing at least one acyl group having 8-26 carbon atoms are used to break, or prevent the formation of, a difficultly separable slurry of a fermentation mixture and an extracting agent. The alcoxylated amine compound has low toxicity and high biodegradability. |
