<p>A magazine for loading a fastener dispensing chamber (9) of a lashing machine, stapling gun or like machine with strips of mutually joined U-shaped wire fasteners (8). The magazine includes a stack of fastener cases (14), each of which has a withdrawable bottom (23) and contains a strip of U-shaped wire fasteners (8). The lowermost case (14) is located over an infeed opening provided in an upper defining surface of the fastener dispensing chamber (9), such as to permit the fastener strip in said case (14) to fall down into the dispensing chamber when the bottom of the fastener case (14) is withdrawn. The empty case can then be removed and replaced by the next overlying fastener case. The invention also relates to a method of loading wire fasteners into a fastener dispensing chamber.</p> |
