<p>The invention relates to a device for reheating meal trays standing by in a refrigerated housing, each tray being heated individually. The device is comprised of a heating support (5) receiving the trays of which an area remains always cold and of which an area is intended to reheat the plate (4). This heating support includes electric resistances (7) which are covered with a horizontal and insulating heat barrier (6). By introducing the tray (1), the thermal barrier is pushed by a buffer (10), which barrier is retracted in the heating support by compression of the springs (8) which, after removal of the tray, expand and reposition the thermal barrier to the resistances (7), thereby avoiding residual calories heating the plate to affect the refrigerated atmosphere of the housing. These residual calories are evacuated outside the housing through an orifice (9) from which the snug (11) of the heat barrier obstructing the orifice was released while the barrier was pushed by the tray (1).</p> |
