<p>A delivery valve is incorporated into the delivery pipe (7, 7') that leads from a fuel injection pump to a fuel injection valve (8) and has a valve closure member (21) that opens in the fuel delivery direction and is provided with a recirculating collar (35). In order to achieve uniform injection, in particular a uniform injection curve, over the rotation speed range, the opening rate of the connecting cross-section at the valve closure member (21) is controlled by a control collar of same diameter (36) as the recirculating collar (35), arranged immediately adjacent the latter and having a recess (38) in its circumference that is delimited by a through-channel (20) for guiding the valve closure member (21) that has a defined open cross-section in particular of the same order of dimension as the cross-section of the delivery pipe. An outlet edge (22) of the through-channel (2) cooperates with the control collar (36) and liberates with an increase in stroke a connecting cross-section of the recess (38), which however never becomes larger than the open cross-section.</p> |
