The heating boiler, in particular condensing boiler, consists of a water-conducting housing (16), in which a burner chamber (2) is arranged, from which heating-gas flues (5) lead to a waste gas-collecting chamber provided with waste-gas-discharge connection stub. To be able to ensure optimal condensate drainage in the region of the bottom of the combustion chamber, the bottom (1) of the combustion chamber (2) is constructed in the form of a funnel. From this, a condensate channel (3) of small cross-section in relation to the diameter of the combustion chamber leads centrically to the waste gas-collecting chamber (4), the remaining area of the bottom of the combustion chamber, which area is considerably larger in relation to the cross-section of the condensate channel, being used to link the heating-gas flues (5), which are preferably constructed as pockets and arranged radially with respect to the centre of the bottom (1). <IMAGE>
