PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous arithmetic due to arithmetic mode dissidence and to obtain various arithmetic modes with a small number of reserved key panels, by mechanically coupling arithmetic mode selection by a mode changeover switch about specific arithmetic mode of a key panel. CONSTITUTION:A key panel 12 is provided with an engaging recessed part 19 capable of engaging a slidable mode changeover switch 18 of a cabinet 14 having a lock hole through a lock pawl 16, and specific aritimetic mode of the key panel is selected automatically through the switch 18. Further, different arithmetic mode is specified on both top and reverse surfaces of the key panel and for this purpose, engage-part 19 is arranged symmetrically about a center axial line when panels are attached to both surfaces to set the mode changeover switch 18 to adequate arithmetic mode respectively. Thus erroneous arithmetic due to arithmetic mode dissidence is eliminated and various arithmetic modes are obtained with a less number of reserve key panels. |
