PURPOSE:To simplify the sending mechanism of printing medium as well as control on the mechanism and improve the cost by using a medium sending mechanism with simplified medium sending drive source in the printer consisting of plural medium insertion ports, a printing section, and medium feed pathway. CONSTITUTION:A gear 14 is provided coaxially with a roller R1 and a pulley 19 is provided coaxially with a roller R2. Outside pathways 23a and 23b to the roller R1, the coaxial gear 15 and the pulley 18, the coaxial gear 17 and the pulley 20, and a gear 16 engaging with the roller 17 are present. The gear 15 and the shat of the pulley 18 are conncted to a motor 22, and a belt 21 is laid on the pulleys 18-20. By switching the arrow directions A and B of a switching lever 3, the gear 14 are engaged with the gears 15 and 16. A bankbook or bill is inserted into a bankbook insertion port 24 and a bill insertion port 25, printed in a printing section 9, retracted, reprinted, and then returned to the insertion ports. All the sending mechanisms are driven by the motor 22. |
