<p>The subject of the invention is processes, devices and specialised pincers enabling mechanical insertion of the ends of a conductive wire harness into the terminals or into the ducts of an assembly of electrical components which have to be interconnected by these wires. A device according to the invention comprises a first conveyor (6) carrying pairs of pincers (2) which each hold a section of wire (3). It comprises an outward conveyor (10) and a return conveyor (12) of specialised pincers, vertical magazines (91, 92, 93, 94) of specialised pincers placed between these two conveyors, frame-setters (81, 82, 83, 84) which transfer, one by one, each wire end whilst orienting it from the first conveyor (6) towards a specialised pincer (11) carried by the outward conveyor (10) and an insertion head (13) which grasps each specialised pincer and which displaces it axially towards a pallet (14) carrying the components (15) to be interconnected. An application is the mechanical insertion of the ends of conductive wires into the terminals intended to receive them. <IMAGE></p> |
