The coupling of a turbo-engine shaft (6) within a bearing (2) comprising a thrust ballbearing (1) inserted between the said support and a sleeve (3), itself mounted on the said shaft (6) to which it is fixed in terms of rotation by means of straight splines (3a, 6a) carried respectively by the bore of the sleeve and by the shaft, is characterised, according to the invention, in that the upstream end of the shaft has an external thread (6b), onto which is screwed a clamping nut (11) of the sleeve, capable of keeping the inner ring (1b) of the thrust bearing (1) fixed against a shoulder (5) of the shaft (6), and in that the said nut has a shoulder (11b) capable, during the unscrewing of the nut, of interacting with a shouldered ring (17) screwed on the sleeve (3), to keep the sleeve axially fixed when the shaft is being extracted from the sleeve. <IMAGE> |
