PURPOSE:To eliminate a duplicated part or a non-recording part at a joint between an edited part of video and an audio track, by bringing a video information erasing means and an audio information erasing means into operating or nonoperating state in a different timing. CONSTITUTION:An input audio signal is superimposed on a bias from an oscillation circuit 14 via a recording amplifier 12. Through the set-on of an edition start switch 16, a switch 15 is closed with an output of a switch circuit 17, a current flows to an erasing head 2, the output of the circuit 17 closes a switch 13 via a delay circuit 18 and sets on a recording/reproduction head. At the end of edition, the switch 16 is set off, an edition end signal is outputted from the circuit 17 and the current to the head 2 is interrupted. Further, an end signal interrupts the recording current to a head 3 via the circuit 18. Thus, a duplicated part where a part already recorded and an inserted part are overlapped at the beginning of the edition and a nonrecording part at the end of edition is not produced. |
