PURPOSE:To prevent the deposition of a trace element on a root, to stabilize the element over a wide pH range and to make the element well miscible with various fertilizers by chelating the element with diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (salt). CONSTITUTION:A required amt. of one or more kinds of salts such as halides, sulfates or nitrates of Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu, Mo, Mg and Ca is dissolved in water and diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (salt) is added to the resulting soln. to convert the salts into a complex and to obtain a trace element for cultivation with a nutritious soln. |
