发明名称 Stroke counter
摘要 813,738. Counting-apparatus. PALIZ-HOLDING A.G. Dec. 3, 1957 [Dec. 19, 1956], No. 37668/57. Class 106 (1). A mechanical stroke counter in which the lowest order numeral wheel is driven by a ten point star-wheel has a shaft on which is mounted a member which when the shaft is rotated in one direction rotates the star-wheel to effect subtraction of one unit in the lowest order and when the shaft is rotated in the other direction effects zeroizing of the counter by means of heart-shaped cams attached to the numeral wheels. The frame 4 bears a shaft 3 carrying numeral wheels 5, 6, 7 with counterweights such as 6b to balance the zeroizing cams, an actuating shaft 1 and a zeroizing shaft 2. A force on the end 1a of the shaft 1 revolving the shaft in a clockwise direction (Fig. 4) against the action of a spring 12 causes a spring 14 to move an actuating bracket 10 so that a prong 10e moves a star-wheel 5c attached to the lowest order wheel 5 through just over half a step, the remaining one-tenth revolution being completed on the return movement by the prong 10d, a brake spring 15 preventing undesired rotation of the wheel 5. The shaft 2 and associated handle 2a are yieldingly held by a spring 16 and bracket 17 and if the shaft is rotated in a clockwise direction (Fig. 4) until the end 18a of a pin 18 in the shaft 2 abuts the end of a slot 19a in the pinion carrier bracket 19, a bracket 22 is rocked by the lower end 18b of the pin 18 so that its nose 22b engages the star-wheel 5c which is thereby turned back for just over onehalf a step causing the nose 10d of the actuating bracket 10 to retreat and snap into the subsequent tooth gap thereby completing the onetenth revolution step back on release of the star-wheel 5c by the nose 22b of the bracket 22. During this process the pinion carrier 19 rocks in a clockwise direction until the shoulder 19b meets the shaft 3. Zeroizing.-To reset the counter to zero, the shaft 2 is rotated in a counter-clockwise direction against the action of the spring 16. The bracket 22 is rocked in a counter-clockwise direction by the action of the spring 23, one end of which abuts the lower end 18b of the pin 18, the other end being inserted in a hole 22c in the bracket 22. When the upper end of the slot 22d, Fig. 2, abuts the nose 19d, the pinion carrier 19 is rocked against the action of the spring 20 to disengage the pinions 8, 9 from the teeth 6c, 7c of the numeral wheels 6, 7 which are then returned to zero by fingers such as 22f engaging the heart-shaped cams such as 6a attached to the numeral wheels. In a modification the brake spring 15 may be replaced by a star-shaped plate spring interposed between the numeral wheels 5 and 6. In another modification (Figs. 10 and 11, not shown) curved plate springs mounted on the shaft 3 are inserted between the end numeral wheels and the pinion carrier 19 and serve to press the numeral wheels together.
